The lead flow

How you get storm leads through Storm Roof Radar

From a homeowner's address check to your phone — here's the complete flow.

STEP 01

Homeowner checks their address

A homeowner in your service area enters their address on Storm Roof Radar. Our system pulls the NOAA MESH estimate for their roof and shows them an honest risk result — no pressure, no pitch.

STEP 02

They request a free inspection

If the risk result warrants a closer look and they want a free inspection, they submit their name, phone, and address. That creates a lead — tied to a verified storm event at a specific address.

STEP 03

You claim it from the feed — exclusively

Approved roofers in the homeowner's area see a new lead in their portal feed. First contractor to claim it at $80 gets the exclusive — full contact info, address, storm details. No one else gets it.

Why roofers choose us

Not another shared-lead platform

Most lead services sell the same homeowner to 3–5 contractors simultaneously. That's a race to the bottom on price. We don't do that.

🔄 Typical shared-lead platforms

  • Same lead sold to 3–5+ contractors at once
  • Race to the phone, race to drop your price
  • No bad-lead recourse — you're stuck with junk
  • Monthly subscription fees whether you get work or not
  • Homeowner already tired of calls by the time you reach them

📡 Storm Roof Radar

  • Lead is exclusively yours the moment you claim it
  • You're the only contractor who calls — no competition
  • Self-serve bad-lead credit through the portal
  • Prepaid wallet — pay for what you use, stop any time
  • Homeowner asked for one roofer; you're it
Lead quality

Every lead is anchored to a real storm event

Unlike pay-per-click leads that come from someone Googling "hail damage" with no idea if they were actually hit, every Storm Roof Radar lead starts with a homeowner who entered their address, saw NOAA radar data showing a storm at their specific location, and then asked to be connected.

That's intent layered on top of verified storm data. The homeowner already knows the radar flagged their roof. Your conversation starts from a much stronger position.

What you get with each lead
  • Homeowner name, phone, and property address
  • Storm date(s) and NOAA MESH estimate at that address
  • Risk level flagged (high / moderate / low)
  • Homeowner-stated interest in a free inspection
  • Exclusive claim timestamp — your lead, no overlap
Activation

Add the free widget to go live

Approved roofers activate by embedding one small, free widget on their site. It gives your visitors a free roof-radar check — and verifies your account so you can claim leads.

How it works

  1. Grab your one-line embed code from your contractor dashboard.
  2. Paste it anywhere on your website — footer, sidebar, or a service page.
  3. Your dashboard confirms it's live within minutes, and your account activates.
  4. Keep it up: it re-verifies automatically. If it's removed for over 2 weeks, your account pauses until it's back.

A fair, two-way deal — you give homeowners a useful free tool and a link to us; we send you exclusive local leads.

What your visitors see on your site

Your personalized embed code lives in your dashboard after approval — copy, paste, done.

Approval standards

We only work with vetted, licensed roofers

We vet every contractor before they can access the feed. This protects homeowners — and protects your reputation.

⚖️ One rule, non-negotiable

No contractor in our network may offer to waive, absorb, or rebate a homeowner's insurance deductible. Doing so is insurance fraud in most states and is grounds for immediate removal from the platform. We tell every homeowner this explicitly. Approved roofers document real damage and bill claims honestly — that's the standard.

Questions

How the platform works for roofers

How are leads priced and billed?+
Each exclusive lead is a flat $80, claimed from a prepaid wallet. You deposit funds in advance and claim leads as they come in from your service area — no monthly minimums, no retainers, no surprise invoices. You're in control of your spend.
What makes a lead 'exclusive'?+
Once you claim a lead, that homeowner's contact information is locked to you. We do not send the same lead to any other roofer — on our platform or elsewhere. It is not shared with lead aggregators or resold. You get the shot; no one else does.
What if a lead turns out to be junk?+
We have a self-serve bad-lead credit process. If a lead is invalid — wrong number, no actual storm event at the address, or the homeowner is completely unreachable — you submit a credit request through the portal and we review it. Legitimate bad leads are credited back to your wallet.
How does the approval process work?+
We review state licensure, verify insurance, and confirm you're actively operating in the areas you want to cover. The process typically takes 2–3 business days. Once approved, you fund your wallet and start claiming leads from your service area immediately.
